This saturday I want to have a picnic in the park for my birthday, but I'm not sure where to go.
Normally I would go to some place in Golden Gate, but I've decided that I really want this one to be in the east bay.
Two suggestions that were given to me were Tilden and Joaquin Miller.
I don't really know either of these parks very well.
Do you have suggestions of a good spot in either for picnicking and hanging out? Possibly a spot with a bbq grill? (though not necessary)
Do you have any other park suggestions?
If there was one near public transit that would be cool, though not entirely necessary as there are some folks with cars.
Thanks for your help!

Re: picnicking in the park
Sat, August 25, 2007 - 10:27 AMHow about Lake Temescal? We had a picnic there at the "Big Rock" picnic area nearer to the south end of the park.
Oh, I guess this is today - I hope you have fun!
